When I relate an experience in visiting the newly built GIBS campus, the three features of the campus that would leave a lasting impression upon my first visit are:

•  A beautiful green campus providing a tranquil and positive environment for students to relax in and to focus on studying between classes.
• Modern laboratories and digital classrooms that are designed to create the same environment that students will encounter once they enter the business world.
•  Well-designed dormitories that promote a healthy lifestyle on the GIBS campus by providing opportunity for students to participate in a wide range of fitness and sports activities, as well as comfortable accommodations to assist students in achieving academic success.

The GIBS Business School faculty possess a diverse combination of both academic achievement and experience in a variety of industries that enhances learning and gives it practical applicability. Many of the core and full-time faculty have earned advanced degrees (Ph.D.; MBA; PGDM; M.Phil.; or master's degree) from distinguished universities and management schools as well as spending time at some of the world's the finest institutions, such as the IIMs and NITs. •  Finally, through offerings such as Global Immersion Programs (e.g. opportunities for students to participate in industrial visits, workshops, guest lectures, etc.) and other international exposure programs, students at GIBS will have access to different ways of experiencing international business perspectives and global cultures while studying in a country such as Singapore, Malaysia, or Dubai.

Overall, through industry and international collaboration, students are able to gain real-world experience, develop networks internationally, and enhance their learning experiences beyond what the traditional classroom provides.

At GIBS Business School, Industry Engagement is an important part of the student learning journey; we host frequent guest speakers from the Corporate World, along with our extensive network of Alumni and Mentors. While we offer many opportunities throughout the academic year to connect with industry leaders and Corporation, we also provide regular opportunities for students to meet with our extensive Alumni and Mentors.

The frequency of our Corporate Guest Talks and Speaker Series has greatly increased over the past ten years. Now, we hold Corporate Guest Talks and Speaker Series once a month or even more often, which give students valuable insight from high-level executives, Human Resource professionals, and leaders within the Corporate Community.

In addition to Corporate Guest Talks and Speaker Series, GIBS provides many opportunities for Students to connect with Alumni and Mentors on an ongoing basis. Our Alumni return to GIBS regularly to share their career experience and provide support for students with respect to Networking, Internships, and Career Preparation. We currently have over 2000 active alumni and these interactions are a key component of the GIBS educational experience.

In conclusion: GIBS Business School provides our students with a number of opportunities to connect with Industry through Corporate Talks, frequent contact with Alumni and Mentors, enabling our students to develop connections to Industry throughout their entire academic career, not just at one or two events each year.

At GIBS, students have many opportunities to have roles of leadership within various clubs, committees, and campus events that are critical to their overall growth. Students can be club leaders, committee coordinators, event leaders, team leaders or managers, marketing and content leaders or heads, finance and budget coordinators, and a representative of students from all academic, cultural, and sport clubs and professional clubs. Along with being asked to plan and execute events with faculty and industry guests, students will manage the budget and marketing for events, lead the coordination of teams to execute events successfully and provide an overall smooth execution of onsite activities for fests and conclaves, workshops, and competitions. In developing these leadership roles, students are able to develop leadership, decision-making, communication, ability to work within teams, ability to manage time, and ability to problem solve, all of which are required in the corporate world; by having worked in these various leadership roles, GIBS students are better prepared for managerial responsibilities.

GIBS Business School has drawn in many reputable organisations for both campus placements and internships, allowing students access to careers within multiple industries such as Banking, Finance, Consulting, Information Technology (IT), Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), Manufacturing, Services. Academic & Learning: The entire campus has Wi-Fi capabilities; air-conditioned classrooms; digital teaching tools; seminar halls; and a duplex auditorium used to hold large events. There is a large collection of both print and e-book resources located in a well-stacked library, and the school provides students with access to computer/innovation labs and creativity spaces that allow interactive, hands-on learning. Students also have access to conference rooms/career advise and a language lab that enhances their educational experiences at GIBS. Hostel & Residential: GIBS has hostels both for male and female members that are located on campus. Each room has sufficient furniture to accommodate its occupant (s) along with hot water, common area water coolers, a Television room and 24/7 Security via CCTV. The hostel is served with a combination of North and South Indian food for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner, and students will be assigned to the hostel based on a first-come first-serve order.

Recreation & Wellness: GIBS's campus also has extensive facilities available for sports and fitness, outdoor and indoor games, as well as a gym and yoga/meditation areas. These facilities support the health and fitness of students.
