Yes, Both BBA and PGDM programs at GIBS are open to applicants who meet the eligibility requirements. Additionally, applicants may apply for the programs regardless of their current qualifications, provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria. Because the BBA programme is an undergraduate program, and the PGDM programme is a graduate program, admission into each programme will be based upon the applicant's academic qualifications. Ultimately students will only be allowed to proceed to the programme for which they are both qualified and selected for admission.

Summary
1. All candidates may apply to both BBA and PGDM.

Yes. Definitely. GIBS is one of the Best colleges in Bnagalore. Personally, after studying at GIBS, I feel what made it good for me was not only academics but the overall experience. When I joined, I was looking for a college where I could learn, participate, build confidence, and get exposure beyond classrooms, and I personally felt I got that here.

What stood out for me:

  • Lots of activities, presentations, and student participation
  • Good exposure through projects, workshops, and internships
  • Active campus environment instead of only classes and exams
  • Opportunities to improve communication and confidence
  • Industry interactions and practical lea

Yes, from my experience, there were industry visits and project-based learning opportunities, and honestly, that was something I enjoyed because sitting in classrooms all the time can get repetitive. I personally liked getting opportunities where we could see how companies work and apply things practically instead of only studying concepts.

A few things I experienced:

  • Industry visits gave practical exposure outside campus

  • Worked on projects with teams and presentations

  • Opportunities to learn through activities and workshops

  • Helped understand how business concepts work practically

  • More interaction and participation instead of only lectures

Yes, GIBS (GIBS - Graduate Institute of Business Studies) Business School encourages a culture of academic achievement as well as research-based activity among its faculty members. While not necessarily publicised on a comprehensive basis and often not visible, the institution's emphasis is on quality of teaching, research contributions, innovation and industry-oriented learning as major areas of performance measurement in relation to Faculty Development.

Yes, GIBS Business School, Bangalore is actually a good choice for students who are interested in entrepreneurship. What I personally liked is that the college really encourages students to come up with new ideas, participate in innovation activities, and learn through practical experiences instead of only classroom theory.

The college regularly conducts workshops, business events, presentations, startup-related activities, and innovation programs where students get chances to explore their ideas and improve their confidence. The environment feels very supportive, and students are encouraged to take initiative, work in teams, and think

When I checked with the admission team during my MBA search, they told me GIBS usually takes admissions in different phases, so it's better not to wait till the last moment because seats get filled gradually.

From what I remember, applications generally stay open till around April–May for most MBA/PGDM and BBA admissions, but sometimes they extend dates depending on seat availability and entrance exams like MAT/CMAT. Some admission portals recently mentioned deadlines around mid-May 2026 for PGDM and BBA applications.

Honestly, if you are seriously considering GIBS, I would suggest applying early because early applicants usually get be

GIBS Bangalore placements in our batch- 2025 were actually pretty decent and honestly better than what many people expect when they first join.

In my batch, the average came around 8–9 LPA, and the highest went up to 17 LPA. I personally got 9 LPA, so I can say from experience that if you seriously participate in training and placements, you do get results.

What helped a lot at GIBS Bangalore was the regular practice and support:
• Mock interviews almost every week during placement season
• Aptitude and communication training sessions
• Internship exposure before final placements
• Continuous guidance from placement team
