GIBS Business School Provides management education that is both practical and industry-centric in every semester and focuses on a hands-on approach to learning.
Undergraduate students pursuing the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree have majors including Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Analytics, Retail & Supply Chain, and Digital Marketing which allows students to gain experience developing essential business-related skills early in their academic career.
Post-graduate students pursuing GIBS' flagship PGDM/MBA equivalent will receive additional specialisation into areas such as Marketing Management; Finance Management; Human Resource Management; Operations & Supply Chain; Business/Data Analytics; International Business; Digital Marketing; and Retail Management, with the option of pursuing dual specialisations to increase breadth of knowledge.
At GIBS, the main focus of teaching is to connect theories to real-world problems through practical industry examples. Faculty use live projects, simulations, presentations, industry interactions, and internships to provide students with practical knowledge that can be applied directly. Regularly scheduled guest lectures, workshops, corporate visits, and capstone projects reinforce the learning process by exposing students to the most current industry practices, and help them prepare for future careers.
