Yes, GIBS has a large amount of emphasis placed on experiential learning combined with more traditional learning.

  • The use of case studies, live projects and presentations provide students the opportunity to put their theory into practice, with a focus on applying this in a practical manner within the workplace.
  • An IRE (Innovative Research and Entrepreneurship) type of programme provides students the ability to work on real concepts.
  • Internships and industry experience provide students with both an opportunity to gain industry-based experience and real life based experience.
  • The ability to use group discussions, role plays and simulations t

GIBS Bangalore is a good and strong option among MBA/PGDM colleges, especially in the same fee range. It gives a nice balance of studies, practical learning, and industry exposure, which helps students become job-ready. Being in Bangalore is a big advantage because you get more internship and placement opportunities compared to many other colleges.

For Example;

  • Good industry exposure with guest lectures and company visits
  • Focus on practical learning and skill development
  • Strong support for communication and personality growth
  • Bangalore location gives better career opportunities
  • Decent placements with regular company tie-ups
  • Overall balanced c

There are three main ways in which GIBS Business School is different from other traditional business schools:

  • Practical application of learning: GIBS emphasizes assessment and evaluation based not only on classroom-based learning but also through hands-on experience by being engaged in real-life situations and/or case studies, internships, etc.
  • Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship (IRE) focus: GIBS prepares students for jobs but also teaches them how to be innovative entrepreneurs and problem solvers.
  • Placement training program: GIBS' placement programme develops students' confidence through the development of interpersonal skills and

GIBS Business School collects and uses feedback to improve the quality of their programs. They gather feedback through student surveys, faculty evaluations, scheduled in-person meetings, and recruiter feedback about skills and performance. At GIBS Business School, the packages are pretty good. Infact It's one of the best college in terms of placements and ROI.

  • Most students usually get around 5–7 LPA
  • Some good performers go up to 8–10 LPA
  • Jobs are usually in marketing, HR, sales, finance, business roles
  • College gives decent support with training and placements
  • Your own skills and communication matter the most

Honestly, it's one of those colleges where you get what you put in. If you work on yourself properly, you can land a good package.

And yeah, I got around 9 LPA from GIBS, so it's definitely possible if you take things seriously

Also, students with state-level or other approved management entrance exam scores will be considered, but if you have not taken one of the above mentioned entrance examinations, GIBS may administer its own examination or evaluate applicants based on their
