GIBS Business School is an admirable institution for prospective entrepreneurs students where the focus is on fostering innovation, leadership, and practical business education. Students who attend this institution certainly find means and resources to learn how to be entrepreneurs through gaining valuable industrial exposure.

Reasons for the institution's advantages concerning entrepreneurship are:

  • The programme in IRE (Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship) puts emphasis on encouraging innovative thinking and undertaking research in business.

The BESC fee ranges between INR 1.38 Lacs and 4.48lakh. The cheapest is of MCom and the maximum one if of BA. Since it doesn't provide hostel facility, so that expense is not included, and has to be done externally. Apart from this, there can be other fees which is not mentioned on the portal.

From what I know, GIBS Bangalore usually accepts applications until the available seats are filled, so it's always better to apply early instead of waiting till the last minute.

I'd suggest:

  • Apply as early as you can.

  • Keep all your documents ready.

  • Don't wait until the final deadline.

  • Once you apply, the admission team will guide you through the next steps.

When I applied, the process was quite smooth, and the admission team was helpful whenever I had any questions. If you're planning to join GIBS, I'd say don't delay your application because seats get filled as admissions progress.

For me, GIBS Bangalore never felt like a college where you just attend classes and go back home. There was always something going on, so college life stayed interesting and you were constantly learning something new.

What I enjoyed the most was:

  • Internship opportunities.

  • Guest lectures.

  • Industry visits.

  • Workshops and fun learning activities.

  • Placement training.

  • Friendly faculty and a good campus atmosphere.

I think the biggest difference for me was the confidence I gained. I became more comfortable talking to people, working in teams, and trying new things. Looking back, I feel I learned a lot beyond academics, and that's what made my experien

GIBS Bangalore doesn't look only at your entrance exam score. The admission process is quite balanced, and they also try to understand you as a student.

A few things can make it difficult during admissions:

Going to the interview without any preparation.

Not being able to explain why you want to do BBA or PGDM.

Poor communication during the interaction.

Missing documents or not completing the admission process on time.

Showing very little interest during the interview.

The student enrollment at GIBS Business School is really based on the programme and the type of student being enrolled, but as an average number you can expect:

  • PGDM: Between 240–300 a year (most commonly reported numbers are either 240 or 300)
  • BBA: Approximately 180

When you add these together, the average number of students admitted to both programs every year is:

  • PGDM: 250–300
  • BBA: 180

The size of these admissions allows GIBS to have a good level of involvement in the classroom, as well as allowing the students access to an adequate amount of exposure to business through industry visits, club activities, internships and placemen

From my experience at GIBS Bangalore, placements were actually quite structured and preparation starts from the beginning itself. It's not something you suddenly face in the final semester — you keep getting trained through internships, presentations, communication sessions, and mock interviews.

  • I am from 2025 batch and I personally got placed at around 9 LPA

  • My friend Suraj got a package of around 16 LPA

  • Average range for many students is around 8–9 LPA

  • the highest packages can go around 16–17 LPA+ depending on performance

  • Internship support is given during the programme itself

  • Regular placement training, aptitude practice, and
