From my experience at GIBS Bangalore, placements were actually quite structured and preparation starts from the beginning itself. It's not something you suddenly face in the final semester — you keep getting trained through internships, presentations, communication sessions, and mock interviews.

  • I am from 2025 batch and I personally got placed at around 9 LPA

  • My friend Suraj got a package of around 16 LPA

  • Average range for many students is around 8–9 LPA

  • the highest packages can go around 16–17 LPA+ depending on performance

  • Internship support is given during the programme itself

  • Regular placement training, aptitude practice, and

As a student at GIBS Bangalore, one thing I really appreciated was how involved the faculty members were in student life. They don't just come, take classes, and leave. Whether it was orientation, college events, presentations, projects, or mentoring sessions, the faculty were always around to guide and support us.

Because, For me:

  • They were approachable whenever we needed help or guidance

  • During orientation, they made new students feel comfortable and welcomed

  • They actively encouraged us to participate in events and activities

  • Regular mentoring sessions helped with academics as well as career-related questions

  • They were genuinely interested

GIBS Business School is popular mainly because it gives a more practical and active kind of management learning, not just classroom theory.

Students like it because:

  • focus on internships and real company exposure
  • lot of presentations, group work, and activities
  • regular guest lectures from industry people
  • training for placements from early stage
  • entrepreneurship and startup-related exposure
  • Bangalore location helps for jobs and networking
  • active campus life with events and competitions

So basically, students feel it is more “hands-on” and industry oriented compared to many regular colleges.

That's why it has become a known option for BBA/PGDM

In GIBS Business School, placements are considered quite good. The college is known for giving strong placement support, training, and regular company tie-ups, so students get good exposure to interviews and corporate roles.

From what I have seen and experienced:

  • I got a 9 LPA package, and I was really grateful for it

  • The average package is around 7 LPA, which is decent for this level

  • One of my friends got the highest package of 17.8 LPA

  • Many students get opportunities in sales, marketing, finance, HR, and business roles
