Generally, the textbooks prescribed for the Electrical Engineering subjects are considered to be a reliable source for learning, but you can refer to various other e-resources like YouTube videos by some expert professors or professionals in the field, digital articles and essays, and the e-library of your college (if available). This adds to your understanding of the concepts and builds a strong foundational base.

The BTech Electrical Engineering syllabus usually differs on the basis of the specific course provider, be it an online provider or offline academic institution. Having said that, the core subjects covered are mostly the same, as they are meant for foundational understanding of the electrical concepts.

The difference between the two lies in the practical component while the regular offline programme includes lab exercises, industrial visits, and research projects, the online course has its own limitations when it comes to the hands-on learning approach.

You will surely get to experience hands-on lab work and informative workshop sessions during the BTech EE coursework that will provide you with the required skill set to do wonders in the professional world. It also further complements the theoretical learning in the classroom. You get to work with circuit models, control systems, microcontrollers, and other electrical system designs.

The BTech Electrical Engineering syllabus is the right mix of core and elective subjects. While the core subjects are compulsory for you to study, you can pick the electives as per your interests and passions. To make the right choice in terms of the specialised electives, you should first indulge in some self-introspection and think about your interests and future plans.

Further, you must research the market demand and future relevancy of the subjects, the kind of skill set you can get, and the amount of practical, hands-on experience that can be explored.
