Electronics and instrumentation engineering (EIE) is an advanced branch of Science that deals with the principles and operations of measuring instruments used in the design and configuration of automated systems. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering field deals with the creation, building and maintenance of measuring and control devices and systems found in manufacturing plants and research institutions. Instrumentation Engineering is the foundation of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering. Its objective is to ensure that systems and processes work safely and efficiently. Instrumentation engineers design various instruments for different sectors. Therefore, they are needed in various domains and hired after their graduation. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering branch of Engineering is quite tough because it requires the students notional thinking. The scope of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is vast and connects all branches of Engineering. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering graduates have the advantage of being able to work both inside and out of their core industries.

The admission procedure for M.E. In Electronics and Communication Engineering at Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is:
1. The academic requirement is a B.E. or B.Tech in a related field with a minimum grade of 50%.
2. Admission will be made on the basis of the merit list of UVCE.
3. This list will be prepared on the basis of GATE and PGCET scores.
4. You will have to register online on the official website with a valid score in either the GATE or PGCET exam. Other details are as follows for the ME course:
5. The total number of seats available is around 40 in this course.
6. Registration fees are Rs. 500 at the time of admission.
7. The total tuition fee for M.E. In Electronics and Communication Engineering is Rs. 1 Lacs for two years.
8. Also, GATE scores will be given preference over PGCET scores at the time of admission.

M.B.M. Engineering College has been upgraded to a public state university known as M.B.M. University.
The admissions to the B.E. and B.Arch. programs of the university are carried out through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP), organized by the Center for E-Governance, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
According to the official website of REAP, the last date to fill out and lock the college choices of candidates in each category is today, after which it will release the cutoff in multiple rounds.
To be eligible for admission to B.E. in electronics and electrical engineering, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with a 45% aggregate in subjects from physics, mathematics, and chemistry, or an equivalent science subject.
In addition, candidates may be required to submit a JEE score.
As of now, the final merit list has been published on the REAP portal under the Candidate Panel. Whereas, the cutoff will be available from the first week of October for all B.E. courses.
