The students have to score more than 80 to 90 percent aggregate marks in the entrance exam to take admission.
The Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering and Diploma in Information Technology is a courses under State Council of Technical Education, Nagaland under the Directorate of Technical Education. The duration of the Course is 3 years. Admission to the course will be done during May/June every year. You can get admission into the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kohima with 70% marks in 12th, but you have to pass the entrance exam conducted at the national level for admission in B.Tech courses in different government and some private colleges. Some of the exams conducted at the national level are the JEE for engineering and CUET and many other examinations conducted by the university itself.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kohima offers the students of Nagaland. A starting salary of about INR 13 Lakh and the highest up to INR 30 Lakh.
Since it is a national-level college, it is good for education purposes for the students. The fee for B.Tech students is about INR 1,20,000 i.e INR 1 Lakh 20 thousand per year for Core branches like CSE.
