Hello Ram, at first find out a college of your choice which has good placement for mechanical engineers and start preparing for its entrance exam. Colleges like IITs and NITs, BITs are good option for you. Any reputed private college with good placement can also help to become a successful mechanical engineer. All the best

You can do either do BTech Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Chemical engineers are also considered for Petroleum Engineering jobs.
