Those who are looking for the job of a desktop engineer should have an engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. This is a tricky question. In India, the cost of living is relatively lesser compared to first-world countries and hence salary will be accordingly planned and provided. It is a good course to choose. The scope is great as these engineers design and develop control systems, manage and maintain, and troubleshoot existing control systems. They could be consulting or rendering technical support. Both public and private firms, IT companies, thermal power plants, chemical companies, biomedical, nuclear, aerospace industries, automation, embedded systems, systems engineering are some possible job sectors. It has a good scope both in India and abroad.

You could take up an engineering course, say in Chemical or Mechanical branches. Instead of only a bachelor's degree, even integrated masters and bachelors course is also very well. Good analytical skills, math skills, and creative skills play the key role. Professional engineering exam and relevant work experience help you become competent in petroleum engineering job.

This definitely depends on a host of factors like interest, aptitude, and skill sets. However, some of the trending courses include Computer and Information Science, Electronics and Communication, Telecommunication, Mechanical with wonderful job opportunities. I would strongly recommend you to choose a branch based on your interest and skill sets. It could even be civil or biotech if you truly want to pursue a career out of it.

It has a good scope, in fact, both in the government sector and the private divisions. One can enrol as food quality inspector in areas of quality assurance, purchasing management, food equipment, food safety, research, teaching, food preservation, product development, etc.

Well, there are diverse ways to move ahead. I would recommend fetching a few years of work experience in the chosen and interested area. You could consider doing Masters. However, do a thorough research before you make the plunge. If its pure technical or MBA or MS or a specialisation certificate course that you are looking for. Always make an informed choice after talking to alumni from colleges that you plan to go and course that you want to take up; what is the output you want to achieve like increased pay and better visibility in the market etc. ; Location whether it is abroad or in India that you want to do it.

Start off with 10+2 and appropriate entrance exams to get into Bachelors in Solar and alternate engineering/energy technology. There are state level and national level entrance tests like UPES and JEE. Take them up and pursue the Bachelors. Thereafter do the Masters in Solar Power Engineering.
10+2 should be in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Enroll in related internships and short term courses if you are very passionate so that you can devleop in depth skill sets.
