Nano technology do have future scope. There are newer technologies in medical imagining based on nanotechnology. Petroleum as we all know is a non-renewable resource, but still there are many parts of world known to have oil reserves, which are still unexplored.

Both are equally good options. Nowadays, software engineering is more popular because of low investment and high returns. MNCs like Wipro, TCS, INFOSYS, Capegemini and Accenture are recruiting engineers a lot for software projects. Future aspects are more in software in the field of artificial intelligence and data sciences, which is again based on software.
These technologies are based on Orthodox software concepts and students good in Java, C and C+ will easily understand these technologies and grab jobs in these fields.
On the application part, hardware engineering also have opportunities in the fields of energy and power, automobiles

Hi Dear,
For perusing engineering you have to appear in JEE Mains and Advanced. This can give you entry in IITs, NITs & IIITs. But you need to have 50% in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.

BE in aeronautical engineering is related to aircraft engineering, designing and maintenance of aircraft. You will get jobs in airlines and they offer good salaries. Also, ISRO take aeronautical engineers in space research field. The future scope is very good in this field.
