Admissions to BSc wll be based on the marks obtained iin +2. No special advantage accrue upon joining a B Sc programme after completing your B Tech. A good idea would be to go for a Post Graduation and PhD. Integrated PhD programmes are also being offered by many universities and institutes.

all branches are good, you must choose the branch which is comfortable for you otherwise selecting branch by judging scope can put you in trouble in future.
you have to be sincere yourself and choose engineering branch according to your choice.
now a days CSE is more demanding and it has more scope. but don't think that more scope means high salary. as everyone is going to IT field, one cannot get salary up to the expectation due to traffic of cse engineers.
so I suggest you to choose branch according to your choice. and make your place better where you are. this will lead to a great success.

Hello,
I was doing some research on education and research opportunities in Canada. I've found that Alberta is the province where mine engineering is in a boom. University of Alberta as well as university of Calgary are top universities in Canada for mine engineering. Also, Alberta is the mining capital and there are lot of mining industries based in Alberta.
I suggest you the choose U of Alberta or U of Calgary over UBC as there is more scope for mining in Alberta and Vancouver is known for arts and computer science programs. Hope this helps you. Cheers!
