For those students who love space science, the answer is definitely yes. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, is seen as the best institute for Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering in India. It is the only college that gives exposure of space research and ISRO internship, with proper training not found in any other college. The BTech course facilities at IIST tend to offer an average package of ₹16.60 LPA. One cannot afford to miss an opportunity to appear for admission because it depends mainly upon JEE Adv score and is a competition for best aspirants.

The top aeronautical engineering college in India must provide the following campus facilities: suitable aeronautics and aerospace laboratory, wind tunnel and flight simulators, hangar and aircraft maintenance workshops, final computing and CAD/CAM facilities, placement and training cell between students, sports room and study room, and hostels. Always check whether the college has real flight simulators, aircraft models for hands-on training, and direct industry connections for internships. A college without proper practical labs will leave you weak on the skills that employers actually look for.
