Here's how you can secure admission to the B.E. / B.Tech programme at R.M.D. Engineering College, Thiruvallur (affiliated with Anna University, Chennai):

 Eligibility Criteria

Academic requirement: Dual certificate of passing 10+2 (HSC) from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories in some reports) 

Diploma Lateral Entry: Diploma holders in engineering can apply directly to the 2nd year (3rd semester) through lateral entry via Anna University .

There are 12 undergraduate (UG) options and 13 graduate (PG) options available under Caltech Engineering courses. Students applying for UG Engineering courses can pursue majors such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Applied Physics. Graduate degrees (MS and PhD) are offered in Aerospace, Control and Dynamical Systems, Materials Science, Medical Engineering, and more.

To be eligble for M.Tech programme at Amrita School of Engineering Chennai students must qualify BTech/ BE from a recognised institute with a minimum of 60% aggregrate or CGPA 6.0. While institute also accepts GATE entrance exam for admission. Aspiring candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course.

A rank of 16518 would be needed in round 3 as per the Manipal CSE cutoff 2026 for General AI students. This is the highest rank for all CSE courses, including the one with foreign university collaboration.
