VSAT 2026: The Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University) will release Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test (VSAT) application form soon. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill in the VSAT 2026 Application Form by from - vignan.ac.in/newvignan. The details of VSAT 2026 eligibility criteria will be mentioned in the official notification. Candidates interested in BTech admission at Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research (Deemed University) can apply online using the direct link provided on this page as and when it is released. While filling the VSAT application form 2026 candidate will have to select the exam date.

As per the past year's VSAT 2026 Important Dates, the VSAT 2026 exam might be conducted from January 15 to April 15, 2026 as home-based remote proctored and at the institute campus. The Admission to B.Tech courses \will be offered based on ranks in JEE Main/Advanced and EAMCET (AP/TS). Candidates have to provide details of their mode of admission/registration details about exams appearing at the time of registration for admission. Admission to the BTech course is also provided based on class 12 marks. VSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for VSAT 2026. The eligibility criteria for the North Indian States and the South Indian States vary from each other. Candidates qualified in V-SAT / AP EAMCET or TS EAMCET / JEE Main / JEE Advanced can apply if they have obtained the minimum required CGPA/Percentage. Check the VSAT educational qualification, age limit, and other details below.

  • Candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2005.
  • Candidates must have obtained a 7.0 CGPA if studied in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana and the other South Indian States or 50% aggregate marks if studied in North, North East, and other states.
  • Candidates qualified V-SAT / AP or TS EAMCET / JEE Mains / JEE Advanced and obtained the minimum marks in Class 12 as mentioned in the second point can also apply.
  • For BTech/BPharmacy programs, attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English/Aptitude.
  • For BTech Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Food Technology & BPharmacy programs, attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English/Aptitude.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria to apply for VSAT?
A: 

Aspirants who have qualified class 12 with 7.0 CGPA and those who have studied in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana and the other South Indian States or 50% aggregate marks if studied in other states can apply for the VSAT exam.

Q:   Can I request re-evaluation of VSAT result?
A: 

No, there is no such provision for re-evaluation or rechecking of the VSAT results. As the exam is conducted in computer-based online mode and scoring is automated to eliminate manual errors. Hence, while appearing in the exam, they must be aware that there will be no opportunity for re-evaluation and they will have to satisfy with their marks.

The application form for VSAT 2026 will be available on the official website. Candidates will be able to fill the VSAT 2026 application form in both online and offline modes. The online application form will be able to filled from the website vignan.ac.in while the offline application form can be purchased from the institute. Candidates can fill the application form in any medium at their convenience. To purchase the offline application form, candidates need to visit the institute office or an Indian bank branch. Candidates have to fill the application form within the specified dates to appear in VSAT 2026 entrance exam.

VSAT 2026 Exam Pattern

Candidates must know the exam pattern of VSAT 2026 beforehand to know how and what type of questions will be asked in the exam. VSAT 2026 will be conducted online as a computer-based test. Candidates who submit the application form within specified dates are issued VSAT admit cards to appear in the exam. Admit cards are sent to candidates in their email IDs. VSAT 2026 Counselling

The Vignan University will conduct VSAT 2026 counselling in May. VSAT counselling will be held online. Candidates have to register to participate in the VSAT counselling 2026. Only those candidates who qualify for the written examination will receive the counselling call letters. The allotment of seats will be based on the All India Rank obtained by the candidates in VSAT 2026.
