Almost every college offers a relaxation of at least 5% marks at the time of BTech BME admission to students who belong to any of the reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/PwD, given they have a valid category certificate that needs to be presented at the time of document verification of admission and also uploaded while filling out the application form.
The reservation policy might differ from one college to another, so you should definitely confirm the same by reading the detailed admission guidelines on the respective college websites.

With an SC category female rank of 5 Lacs in JEE Main, it's highly unlikely to get into a top NIT or any other good government engineering college. The competition for SC category seats is intense, and a rank of 5 Lacs is generally considered very low for these institutions. While there might be some very low-ranked NITs or state-level colleges, it's more likely that you'd need to explore options like private colleges or other engineering programs.

Yes, students need to pay a non refundable amount of AUD 200 along with the application form to confirm their seat. If the student is 18 years or above and has a high school certificate along with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, he is eligible to apply to the George Brown College.
