Yes, BE course at GCEM is equivalent to a BTech degree. BE course includes both conceptual and technical content that helps students to upskill and develop deeper knowledge about technologies. BTech is a more practical driven course whereas BE has more theoretical content. Both degrees have almost equivalent importance in the employment sector.

At Gopalan College of Engineering and Management BE course is divided into 8 semesters. The course consists of both theoretical ad practical subjects. There are several projects integrated with the course.

There are fixed number of seats available in every specialisation of the BE course at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management. The intake capacity for the Computer Science Engineering department is around 180.

The first year of the UG course is divided into two semesters. Aspirants have to appear for the exams semesterly and clear them to pass the course. The subjects included in the Quantum University BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at Quantum University for the very first semester are:

Anna University conducts the TANCET exam every year in the month of March. Candidates can expect TANCET 2026 exam to be held before the third week of March. In 2025 term, Anna University conducted the TANCET exam on March 22, whereas in 2024 term, TANCET exam was held on March 9. Anna University will likely follow the trend for TANCET 2026.
The exam date for TANCET 2026 is expected to be announced in the month of January.

Yes, it is possible to get M.Tech admissions with low GATE scores. However, it depends on certain factors, such as category, low cutoff drops in spot-counselling rounds. If you are aiming for NITs, then newly established NITs can be a good option.

There are two types of GATE counselling that offer admission to M.Tech courses and programmes -
- COAP - it is a portal through which that offers M.Tech admission at IITs and IISc Bangalore
- CCMT - is a portal through which candidates have to register for M.Tech admission at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

For B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering at Jamia Hamdard University Delhi, admission is based on merit in the JEE Main exam. You need to have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Computer Science, Chemistry, or Electronics, securing at least 50% aggregate.
To get Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in a National Institute of Technology (NIT), aim for a minimum percentile of 95+ for general category and 80+ for reserved categories.
