1. Class 10 & 12 Marksheets
2. Allotment letter for TNEA Counseling.
3. Proof of Identity:- A government-issued ID as an Aadhar card, voter ID, or passport.
4. Caste Certificate (if applicable): A Valid caste certificate application for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) has to be provided.
5. Domicile Certificate.
6. Passport size Pictures:- Generally, 2-4 recent passport-sized images are needed to fulfill the application form.

To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. The JEE Main exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted for admission to BTech in most colleges all over India, not only for the Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar. The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year. The results for session 1 were released on February 12, 2025, and the results for session 2 were released on May 23, 2025.
