The eligibility criteria required to get admission to Assam engineering college NIRF ranking 2024 are:
- Students must pass Class 12 with a minimum of 60 percent of aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
- Students must clear the college entrance exam, followed by counseling and seat allotment rounds.
- Admission is also based on merit basis and apart from that some colleges in Tamil Nadu accept scorecards of exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, etc., for BTech admissions.

There are about 4 top Engineering colleges in Assam. Of these, 3 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and 1 college is owned by public-private entities. JEE Main is the most accepting entrance exam in the best Engineering college in Assam. Some of the popular colleges include IIT Guwahati, NIT Silchar, IIIT Guwahati, and Tezpur University.

Yes, you can pursue MA in Public Administration course after completing B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. There are many colleges in India that accept graduate students from various streams and fields to their MA Public Administration program.
Most of the colleges in India take graduation marks into consideration when accepting admission to MA Public Administration ourse and some colleges may even ask for specific entrance exam qualification.
