There are a lot of elective subject choices offered to you in the Transportation Engineering syllabus at both UG and PG levels. You can select any of the electives as per your interests. Some popular elective subjects are as follows:

Transportation Engineering course syllabus is designed in such a manner that includes some core subjects that are compulsory for you to study in each semester as they provide you with the foundational knowledge needed to excel in this field. Apart from the core subjects, there are elective subject choices that you can take up according to your interests. Here's the general list of documents that are needed for admission to Transportation Engineering courses at Indian colleges:

·       Graduation Mark Sheet with at least 55% marks (for PG courses)

·       Class 12 Mark Sheet with 50 to 60% marks in PCM

·       Entrance Exam Scorecard and Admit Card (if applicable)

·       A Valid ID Proof like PAN, Aadhar, Passport, etc.

·       Transfer and Character Certificates (may be needed)

·       Recent Passport-size Photos

·       Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)

For studying UG courses in Transportation Engineering, you should meet the basic eligibility requirements that is getting at least 50 to 60% marks in the PCM subjects in Class 12. For PG courses, you should have at least 55% marks in BTech Civil Engineering or a related course. After that, you must give relevant entrance tests and get excellent marks in the same.

The next important step is to fill out the college application forms before the last date. After the exam results are out and you've got your marks, you need to apply for the college counselling process where you'll be allotted a seat according to your marks and rank in the entrance exam.

After getting the seat, you have to go to the college and pay the Transportation Engineering course fee and start attending the classes as per schedule.
