There are two types of GATE counselling that offer admission to M.Tech courses and programmes -

• COAP - it is a portal through which that offers M.Tech admission at IITs and IISc Bangalore
• CCMT - is a portal through which candidates have to register for M.Tech admission at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. 

For B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering at Jamia Hamdard University Delhi, admission is based on merit in the JEE Main exam. You need to have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Computer Science, Chemistry, or Electronics, securing at least 50% aggregate. 

To get Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in a National Institute of Technology (NIT), aim for a minimum percentile of 95+ for general category and 80+ for reserved categories.

If someone is considering a private institute or university in Punjab, Chandigarh University is a strong option. The IIT Kharagpur accepts JEE Advanced exam for the admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses. Taking into consideration the IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2023, the JEE Advanced cutoff for B.Tech. The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch.
