No, you can't join directly 2nd PU after the completion of one year Diploma in Engineering. The moment you get admitted to a Diploma course, you are held to have transitioned from PUC (Pre-University Course) to Polytechnic and hence to another system of academic structure. You would have to start again at 1st PU to rejoin PUC, not entering directly at 2nd PU. But if you wish to go for higher secondary studies, you can choose NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) or other similar open schooling. It is better to verify with your state education board for the particular guidelines.

Admission to the Integrated M.Tech course in VIT Bhopal is mainly on the basis of VITEEE scores.
