There are about 4 top Engineering colleges in Assam. Of these, 3 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and 1 college is owned by public-private entities. JEE Main is the most accepting entrance exam in the best Engineering college in Assam. Some of the popular colleges include IIT Guwahati, NIT Silchar, IIIT Guwahati, and Tezpur University.

Yes, you can pursue MA in Public Administration course after completing B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. There are many colleges in India that accept graduate students from various streams and fields to their MA Public Administration program.
Most of the colleges in India take graduation marks into consideration when accepting admission to MA Public Administration ourse and some colleges may even ask for specific entrance exam qualification.

The process for B.Tech at RV College of Engineering for 2025-26 has already started in January for Karnataka residents and in February for students residing outside karnataka . The students can apply online or by visiting the campus . The applying candidates must satisfy their conditions which include :
1)- valid result in JEE mains/kcet .
2)-alteast 45% marks in 12th board results.
3)-alteast 60% marks in physics and mathematics.
4)- students must have completed their 10+2 from any recognised board.
