With 72 percentile and a CRL rank of 408,090 in JEE Main, and 57% in 12th grade, getting admission to a B.Tech course in a Central University could be tough, as such universities usually have higher JEE Main ranks and a 12th-grade score of at least 60%.

No, you are not eligible for JEE Advanced 2025 because a candidate can attempt JEE Advanced twice in consecutive years after passing Class 12. As you passed 12th in 2023, your eligible years were JEE Advanced 2023 and 2024. As you failed in both attempts, you cannot appear in 2025.
But if you wish to study engineering, you can look for state engineering entrance exams, private colleges, or lateral entry schemes. You can also appear for JEE Main 2025 if you are eligible for it.

Having an SC category rank of 9,200 in JEE Main, getting into IIIT Kottayam or IIIT Dharwad for B.Tech courses might prove difficult, since the cutoffs of past years for SC candidates have been quite lower.
For example, in 2024, the closing ranks for SC students at IIIT Kottayam ranged from 3,545 to 10,370.

As of February 2025, the most recent available cutoff rank data for the B.Tech in Civil Engineering course at Aliah University refers to the 2024 academic year. For Round 1 of WBJEE 2024 counseling, the last rank for this course was 15,827 for candidates from the General category belonging to the Home State.

With an OBC rank of 4792 in WBJEE, admission to a government engineering college in West Bengal can be difficult for branches with high demand such as CSE, IT, or ECE in prestigious colleges like Jadavpur University or IIEST Shibpur. With a GMR of 108000 and a TFW rank of 30000 in WBJEE, admission to good colleges in West Bengal may not be easy. But you could have opportunities in private engineering colleges and some lower-ranked government colleges under the TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) scheme, subject to seat availability.

No, you can't join directly 2nd PU after the completion of one year Diploma in Engineering. The moment you get admitted to a Diploma course, you are held to have transitioned from PUC (Pre-University Course) to Polytechnic and hence to another system of academic structure. You would have to start again at 1st PU to rejoin PUC, not entering directly at 2nd PU. But if you wish to go for higher secondary studies, you can choose NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) or other similar open schooling. It is better to verify with your state education board for the particular guidelines.
