Yes, you may be eligible for admission to the computer engineering course at Government Polytechnic Pune (GPP) if you scored 79.8% in CBSE class 10th and are from the open category: 

• Admission criteria: GPP admissions are merit-based and require the following documents:

  • Non creamy/income certificate/EWS valid up to March 31, 2024 
• Courses offered: GPP offers 14 courses across various streams, including engineering and design. 

With a SC category rank of 3568 in JEE Advanced, you have a decent chance of being able to get into several IITs, though some branches will depend on the cut-off of the year.
