Yes, you are eligible in jadavpur university and you can apply for WBJEE to pursue BE in Chemical Engineer from Jadavpur University. Student from any state in India can apply for WBJEE. You just need a domicile certificate which claims reservations for government institutions. There is also an eligibility criteria where you have to pass class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as these are the compulsory subjects.

You have scored very well in your intermediate. But, please note that getting a CSE branch also depends on your performance in the entrance test conducted by VIT or whichever major entrance test you appear for. Your rank should be below 8,000 to qualify for CSE branch. Please note the actual rank required may vary.

There are several factors that play a crucial role in admission such as your caste, class 12th score, etc. Some of the colleges which you may get include IIT Varanasi, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT Goa, etc. You have secured a good rank and you will definitely get into any IIT. JEE Advance is one of the toughest exams to crack and you have done well in that.

As far as I know, to pursue a B.Sc in Information Technology, the interested candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This particular course has been in demand since the last 4-5 years. The graduates will be eligible for posts such as IT Support Analysts, Network Engineer, IT Consultants, Software Developer, etc.
