Marine Engineering admission eligibility criteria require the students to pass Class 12 in the Science stream with at least 60 percent in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry subjects and 50 percent marks in English.

Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are the three courses covered in the JEE Main Syllabus. Both theoretical and practical components are included in physics. Physical, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry are all types of chemistry. The subjects covered in Mathematics are from Classes 11 and 12. |

MHT CET exam is of 300 marks which consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology of 100 marks each. It gives 20% weightage to the syllabus of Class 11 whereas 80% weightage to Class 12th syllabus.
