IITs (Madras, Delhi, Mumbai and Kanpur), NITs (Tiruchirappalli, Warangal) and the other popular and prestigious institutions BITS Pilani, VIT Vellore and SRM Institute of Science and Technology remain the best bets to get a Bachelor in Civil Engineering in India. IITs and NITs are mostly offered based on the scores of JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Most of the privately owned colleges hold their individual entrance examination (e.g., VITEEE, SRMJEEE, BITSAT) or allow JEE Main result. The cost of Tuition at both government institutions and private colleges ranges between 2-8 Lacs to 3-15 Lacs respectively under 4 years.

Tuition fees to students majoring in B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering in India differ widely. Most of the tuition fees of 8-10 Lacs per year in government colleges (such as IITs or NITs) amounts to an overall price of 2-8 Lacs over 4 years. The overall expenses may be even higher in case of the private colleges with an average of INR 3 Lacs to INR 15 Lacs overall, with some of the best private colleges crossing this figure in total. Such figures do not usually include extra expenses such as hostel, mess, and studies fees which are usually significant in terms of annual expenditure.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, the IITs (Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Kharagpur) are the other top colleges across India to pursue Aerospace Engineering. Admission to IITs and IIST usually demands both the successfully completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and high JEE Advanced rank. Other good programs can be obtained in many private universities such as SRM, VIT, Manipal and Amity. They are normally eligible with 10+2 PCM with a certain percentage (which is normally 45 to 60%), and their performance in the respective entrance exam, example SRMJEEE/VITEEE/MET.

Yes, the VITMEE 2025 hall tickets have already been released. They were made available around April 18, 2025, as the exams were conducted on April 20 and April 24, 2025. You can download your admit card from the official VITMEE website (vit.ac.in). Look for a direct link to download the admit card, then enter your application number and date of birth or password to log in. In some cases, VIT also sent the admit cards to registered email IDs due to download issues.

DY Patil University, Pune is relatively more preferable as far as B.Tech in AI & Data Science is concerned. It has better university level NIRF ranking (approximately 63 rd ranking in all) and NAAC A + + ratings. No, as a rule, in case you pass the BITSAT exam in CSE in 2025 audience of BITS Goa, the offer of admission is valid only during the academic year 2025-2026. BITS Pilani (including the Goa campus) usually will not allow the candidates to defer the offered admission to the next year (2026). In a case you reject the 2025 offer, you would be required to re- sit BITSAT in the year 2026 and repeat the entire process of application to obtain a position in 2026-2027 academic year. The best deferral policies are always indicated in the official BITS admission brochure and which are more precise and up to date.

According to the feedback of both experts and students, the JEE main 3rd April 2025 Shift 2 paper was, in general, regarded as of a moderate to difficult level. Chemistry ranked highly as the tougher part because the questions are unpredictable and many times time consuming, Physics was moderate, and Mathematics was also moderate but moment consuming and thought-provoking with difficult computations. Generally, it was slightly more demanding as compared to the morning of the same day and with regards to the January 2025 session.

In case you crack BITSAT 2025 and get an offer of Admission to CSE then, in most cases, you are offered admission of the running year (2025-26). The policy of deferring the admission to the next academic year in BITS Pilani is normally absent. In case you rebuff the offer then you would have to re-take the BITSAT exam in 2026 and redo the admission process. The policies on deferrals are always pegged on the official BITS admission bulletin, which is revised regularly.
