With a CRL of 6 Lacs and OBC rank of 2.5 lakh, it's honestly quite tough to get Biotech or Environmental at DTU. Cutoffs are usually much lower, even for OBC. You might have better chances in spot rounds or try other state colleges.

Although your B.Tech in Software may be a high degree, there exists several railway types of jobs, most specifically technician or Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) where the recruitment criteria require an ITI certificate in other fields of works such as Electrician. Online ITI in EEE to fulfill these requirements could only be considered valid in case the course belongs to NCVT/SCVT completely and the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) indeed accept it by name. No, the IIT Madras does not have such an integrated B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree in the field of study of "Forensic Chemistry." Although IIT Madras has several dual degree programs (B.Tech & M.Tech, or BS & MS) in engineering and Science related disciplines, and at its Chemistry department there are several faculty who have extensive experience in the field of Forensic Chemistry, the latter itself is not mentioned as a separate and special integrated option. Writing the JEE exam can be of great advantage to the engineers to be in India. It is the main entrance to the top educational institutions of the country i.e. IITs, NITs and IIITs, which provide the best education, best faculty with much better placement offers and salary package. Although, direct admission in some of the private colleges under board marks or under management quota, passing JEE in more cases gives a more assured future and career in some cases and hence a very recommended route of an aspiring serious engineer.

Absolutely, your performance in Mathematics percentile will form a direct contribution in your overall percentile JEE Main. The overall percentile is arrived at by taking your total raw score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There are percentages given on each individual subject but they all add to your total performance. High percentile in Math will play a big part in increasing your overall percentile, in as much as Math forms an important section of the test. Moreover, where there is a tie in the overall percentiles, a higher Math percentile is considered as the initial criterion in breaking the tie.
