Marine Engineering course fees can often be paid in installments at a majority of the colleges where the policy allows for annual or semester-wise fee payments. But this depends on the college where you're pursuing the course, the course duration, and the course level.
Stringent college policies may demand for the entire Marine Engineering fees to be paid upfront at the time of admission. So, it is better to go to the official college websites or contact the college helpdesk to clear all your queries.

Well, yes. Marine Engineering jobs will require you to travel for long durations, often a few months depending on the type of ship, voyage length and the agreement between the marine engineer and the employer. Sometimes you can get your family on the ship, but extended periods at sea and on-board duties often make it challenging to lead a consistent home life.
No matter how promising and bright the future of Marine Engineering looks, it has its own downsides that you must be aware of. You must be very passionate about the sea and mechanics to move ahead in this field.
