As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I am currently working as an Application Development Analyst at Accenture, Noida. To begin with, LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. It has B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons) courses. B.Tech (Hons). With time, they introduced my new programs considering in mind the change occurring in technology. LPU has been ranked in the top 100 private universities by many outer agencies such as Business Today, Golden Star awards, Digital learning, zee news etc. More than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU

The main concern of every student and their parents is the job and LPU fulfills that requirement. According to the placement data of 2019-20, LPU has given jobs to 90% of their students appearing in the interview. Even in 2020-21 placement record was up to 72% considering the lockdown situation and rising cases of corona patients, LPU has delivered its promise. All my batch mates are working in reputed companies in India as well as abroad. If someone is planning their career in engineering, then I would suggest LPU. I am an alumni of LPU. LPU comes in top colleges of India and the world in Interior Designing. The LPU School of Design is widely considered as one of the greatest design schools in India and Punjab. LPU gives students the opportunity to experiment with Creative Designs, patterns, textiles, and colors. Live design events, visits from prominent national and international Fashion Designers, Innovation, and Creativity are all encouraged in the students at every stage. Interior Furniture Design And Product Industrial Design Students Engage in Innovative Learning During Experiential Learning Week Students Interact With National Award-Winning Artists During Educational Trips And Industrial Exposure. Navneet Saini (B. Design Interior and Furniture Design, Batch 2015-2019) was placed with Trident Group- Trident Limited, the group's main firm, has customers in more than 100 countries across six continents. Mr. Amardeep Singh (IFD, Batch 2015-2019) was hired as an Interior Designer at Noor Al Marifaa Dcor in UAE for INR 7 Lacs. Annual subscription. Miss. Ineet (2013-1017), Interior & Furniture Design, was hired by Pepperfry with an annual salary of INR 3,60,000. Apurva Thosar, an interior and furniture design student, has been hired by a top university with a five-figure salary.

LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond comprehension, extremely qualified and talented! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post-doctorates and 700 PHDs, LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with every machinery, equipment, and software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just, for example, more than 10 companies have established centers for excellence within the campus with their investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent!
The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and a network to produce any title anytime! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays an important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Attracting 30000 plus students, 200 international universities, and more than 600 companies from all over the world to its state of the art multicultural campus year after year after year speaks volumes about LPU.
