Hello Aniket, engineering colleges in Maharashtra give admissions based on performance in MHT CET and not on JEE Main. Hence your ranking in MHT CET will decide as to where you can get admission. However if you are interested only in CSE and your ranking is not all that good, do not loose hope. There are plenty of seats available under management quota and some colleges have already started deemed advertising for these seats. Else you should contact your selected colleges individually to know about availability etc. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shaik Alma, even though your ranking is reasonably good, it perhaps may fall short for admission in CSE. This is so since majority of the students give this branch as the first choice and as a result of this cutoffs are really stiff. If you want only this branch then I suggest that you should start exploring for seats under management quota. But for this you will need to contact colleges individually since nothinguch is available in public domain. Best wishes to you.

Hello Rohit Bharadwaj, I can understand your angst. However only the exam conducting entity have the information and wherewithal to find out percentile of students. It's futile to spend time on this wasteful activity. Best wishes to you.

Hello Soumya, there is no hard and fast estimate for time taken to study particular section of syllabus. It fully depends on the ability of the students to understand and their graspon the subject matter. So don't worry much. Take your time. Of course you should have plans and schedule for studies of all parts of syllabus with time assigned for exceptions. Best wishes to you.

Hello Preethu Gowda, yes, I can understand your angst and the anxiety about getting placed after completing four years of engineering. Frankly speaking the situation is quite bad. As per one of the reports only 50% of fresh graduate engineering graduates were placed. Even those passing out of IIT faced issue of no placements! May be due to this, thousands of seats are not getting filled up in existing engineering colleges and many colleges are getting closed or closing different branches where there are no students. I would strongly advise you to think over this and then only take decision. Best wishes to you.
