Hello Swagata, I have just answered another query of yours on same subject. Perhaps you submitted same query twice inadvertently. Best wishes to you.

Hello SwagataBannerji, universities conduct entrance for Ph.D. not by subject but generically to assess ability of candidates to carry out research. It's common across all disciplines. I am attaching a sample of Pune University via a link that will give you all the required information. https://www.shiksha.com/articles/Pune-university-phd-admission-2021-application-eligibility-fee-blogId-58201
Best wishes to you.

Hello Mitalparatane, Unfortunately no. This is so since it depends on many factors like the number of students who fail in the first year of engineering, the sanctioned capacity of the college, the number of students seeking admission under the lateral entry, etc. But it's published every year. Best wishes to you.

Hello, no. NDA cadets have the option of studying Science or arts. There is no aeronautical engineering taught. This may be so because all cadets ultimately become fighter pilots and perhaps IAF feels that engineering is not required for these cadets. Best wishes to you.

Hello Alan Joseph, every university has rules and regulations laid out for such transfers. However private colleges invariably feel that they are losing a paying student and hence devise different means to prevent such transfers. Sometimes if one is willing to pay fees of all four years then they may allow. You need to approach the administrative staff of your college to begin the process. Best wishes to you.
