Hello Abhishek, it's almost impossible to shift from one university to another university. As I understand both these institutes are deemed to be universities and also known for good academic and reasonably good placements. In addition, your present institute may not leave you since you are a psying candidate and they will not like to lose 1 paying candidate. In view of this I would advise you to quit the present institute and apply ab-initio to VIT in the next admission cycle.
