Hello, Yes, it is necessary to UGC NET Exam to become an Assistant Professor. As per UGC NET Exam guidelines aspirants can apply for the exam with their post graduation subject or related to that. According to your subject, you can apply for UGC NET Electronic Science. You are lucky, the UGC NET 2020 Apply Online process is still in a running way.
