Candidates can download GATE syllabus from the official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The syllabus is available in PDF format. Before downloading, check the GATE paper code and branch name. The GATE exam syllabus is available for 30 papers.

The JEE Advanced 2026 counselling (JoSAA) started on June 2, 2026. Note that the counselling for the JEE Advanced qualified candidates for IIT admissions is conducted jointly with NITs, IIITs and GFTIs admission counselling by JoSAA - Joint seat allocation authority.

Candidates have to register for JoSAA, fill choices, check allotment, confirm allotment, and pay seat confirmation fee to complete the IIT admisison process after JEE Advanced. The registration for JoSAA counselling started on June 2, 2026.

Two paper combination in GATE allows candidates to take two papers in the examination. The main objective of the GATE two paper combination facility is to broaden the skill set and techniques of the aspirants in relevant field they are applying for.
