DTU conducts Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for B.Tech lateral admissions. While in Maharashtra the B.Tech lateral admissions are given on the basis of Merit (class 12th marks) through DTE Maharashtra by using CAP rounds counseling. Thank you.

B. Tech lateral admissions in Maharashtra are done through the State common entrance test cell Maharashtra through centralized common process rounds.

The candidates seeking admission to B.Tech. Lateral Entry Programmes must have passed a three-year Diploma in any branch of Engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education / Diploma recognised by AICTE, Delhi with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. So, 60% marks are mandatory here.
