LDCE offers the following Post diploma degree courses (PDDC) in the part-time mode as under:
1. Civil Engineering
2. Electrical Engineering
3. Electronics & Communication Engineering
4. Mechanical Engineering
So from above BE Chemical, part-time course is not available at LDCE.

In general, most of the people believe that IITs students get higher placement opportunities over NITs students, because of their two-tier selection criteria and Institute's reputation. But from the last few years, this assumption is broken down by the NIT's students. If we see the placement statistics of one of the leading NIT as NIT Trichy.
1. UG Students placed in the year 2018-19: 96.2%
2. Number of companies visited in the year 2017-18 : 66
3. The highest package: 90 LPA
4. Average package: 6 LPA
While if we see the placement statistics of top IIT like IIT Mumbai as under.
1. Total offerings: 1186
2. Number of companies visited: 347

Institute of Chemical Technology (Deemed to be University of MHRD/ UGC), Mumbai is the best. ICT has the 27 overall NIRF ranking while class 12th NIRF ranking for its Engineering courses. In November 2017, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Committee visited ICT and graded with A+ CGPA of 3.77 out of 4. ICT has been ranked amongst the top ten Engineering Institutes of India and 19th amongst the top universities if the country. It is also recognized at rank 4 amongst the Pharmacy Institutes. In the BRCS QS Universities ranking 2018, ICT ranked at 118; whereas, in 2019, ICT is 115 among all BRICS.
