Lateral entry, you will also have to give entrance tests, that rank/score will also decide your colleges, but a very wide options are open to yoou like MIT etc. You will have to go through the prospectus of the course provided by the college to know more about the admission procedure, eligibility criteria, fees etc.
Thank you.

Hello,
Admission in B.Tech in IITs are done on the basis of ranks secured in JEE Advanced (Conducted among the JEE Main qualifiers). Further, 12th marks is another criteria for admission and should be above 75%. Thank you.

Hi,
Since last year, marks obtained in JEE Mains have lost relevance. What matters now is percentile. In addition, only the agency conducting exam can and will announce percentile. Wait till then. Stating merely marks is not going to help you at all. You can also use these links

Hi,
You should complete your degree in mech engineering from a good college or go for courses like MBA, law, etc. Presently graduation in engineering by distance education is not legal. Hence you can think of pursuing AMIE which is equivalent to engineering graduation. Else you can think of pursuing graduation via distance education in subjects available. You can download a brochure of IGNOU.
