UBKV focuses on agriculture and horticulture while WBJEE is for engineering, pharmacy, architecture & agriculture courses as well. So it depends on the courses you want to opt for. As you can see WBJEE has more scope and some good colleges are through it. I will suggest you WBJEE on wider scope, but if have interest in agriculture courses then go for UBKV.

college has a pretty good and active placement cell. They invite reputed companies like IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS Digital, TCS, etc. Students, especially from the CSE department, have a record of 100% placements over the last few years. There's a special placement drive for women organised by the companies like Goldman Sachs, Wipro and IBM.
