Every college or university has different procedures. Some have their own entrance exams while others offers entrance without any exam or counselling (these are mostly private colleges or universities). Entering in B.Tech after Diploma is called lateral entry as you will be admitted directly in 2nd year. In College of Engineering, Shivaji Nagar: Interested candidates can apply online/offline with the required information. Admission is based on the marks obtained in Diploma. Candidate must have completed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology in relevant stream with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward

You have to carry your class 10th and class 12th original mark sheet
You have to carry your parent's details.
You have to show your address and identity proof
Then, you have to pay fees of the college
You can pay through cheques too.
