No one can answer this question better than me. I am studying in IIITDM Kancheepuram, and I want to tell you that there is no ragging in our college. Rules are very strict against ragging and admin takes complains about the ragging very seriously. We have anti - ragging cell also. Even I don't think any senior will disturb you, but they will surely help you. I love my college, but if you talk about placement, it is not good, because our college is new (only 12 year old) and you can't expect placement of more than Rs. 20 lakh per annum, and also average package is below INR. 4 lakhs. I don't think, there is any entrance exam for Diploma holders in B.Tech. You may get direct admission but not sure.

KJSCE Mumbai is a Gujarati Linguistic Minority college and 51% of seats are reserved for these. 20% of seats are filled through the Common Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra and remaining 15% seats are institute level seats and filled through the management quota. So if you have MHT CET or JEE Main score then apply through the DTE Maharashtra website for admission.

You have a good score in 10+2, based on JEE Mains score it might be bit difficult to get CSE. But as you have a good pointer in 10+2, you might get a seat in CSE. You can definitely try for other branches. Best of Luck!
