It is a good course as IIT Delhi also provide this course. One of the alumni of NITc told me that in first year you will study basic subjects and in next three years you will study physics same as B.Sc Physics like statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and nuclear physics. If you are thinking about in campus placement there. Then it is not a good option. You can take help of faculty to figure out your interest and would definitely a good job. Or you can go for BARC and DRDO. You can do research further.

You have a good rank but it is not for NIT Trichy. You could get NIT Allahabad a good option for you. However, I suggest you to select the list of colleges wisely and include Trichy and Warangal on top.

You have to check whether the college accepts JEE score or not. If yes, then through JEE counselling you can get that college.

If you have any other alternative like any state exam then try for that. You can direct admission in good private colleges. Or you can drop a year.
