You have got really a good score which will get you NIT Warangal. Even if you don't get it within first round, wait till the last round. I hope this helps. All the Best!

1. Don't take a branch that is a derivative of some other beach, like Industrial engineering, Instrumentation, Biotech, Automobile or Aeronautical. Most of the Indian companies are service-based, so none of them look for such skill set.
2. Choose from Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, CS IS but not electrical and chemical, again you won't find jobs, in electrical and the subjects taught are tough too.
3. Go through the curriculum of all the above-mentioned branch, relate them to the subjects you studied in class 11th and class 12th. Try to figure out what

It's quite difficult for you to get NITW with this score. Because in category also, the cut off goes quite higher. But don't loose hopes. Apply and wait till the last round. I hope this helps. All the Best!

As per my opinion, chemical engineering would be a better option. It's kind of a more generalized branch comparatively. Also, from job opportunities point of view, chemical engineering would open up more opportunities. Nevertheless, metallurgy branch is good at its own place. So, depending on the availability as per your score, you should choose. I hope this helps. All the Best!
