Yes, you can get admission in CSE but you should go for the main campus. VIT, Vellore and Chennai do select CSE as top preference but choose other branch if you have interest I am sure you will a good branch there.

You can apply when you will be appearing in 2nd year. For preparations download syllabus from CBSE website. Go through news papers for paper 1 and for paper 2, read your subject related content done at graduation and post graduation level along with research methodology in general and related to subject.

Hi Pushpendra, You have 1lakh rank. If you have a general category, then unfortunately you might not be able to get a government college. But don't loose hopes. Apply and wait till the last round. I hope this helps. All the Best!

You should appear in counseling there is a chance that you could get admission in mechanical, electronic, electrical or civil engineering branch. But please if you have any other alternative explore that too.

Hi JESSICA,
As you have scored 89 percent in class 12th board, so, it will definitely help you to get a seat in any government colleges. You should wait for the cut offs declaration.
Best of luck.

Hello Yash,
There is a quite low probability that you would be able to get CS there in this score. But don't loose hopes. Apply and wait till the last round. You might get it in the last round if there is a vacancy.
I hope this helps.
All the Best!

Hi Sreedhar, you have a good rank, but unfortunately it can't get you CSE in VIT, Vellore in category 1/2/3. Management admissions are quite expensive. So, if you are ready to bear that then go with it. I would suggest trying IT or any other college for CSE if you have given another entrance exams as well.
I hope this helps. All the Best!
