As your rank is very low, and not good, so you should try to drop only if you really want to pursue engineering from a best institute otherwise you can apply in private colleges for engineering. I am sharing a link below which will help you

Hello Arun, these days CSE branch is the top choice of the students, so the closing ranks are in two or three digits. I am afraid with your rank it looks like you have a very slim chance of getting CSE. Best wishes to you.
