In terms of placements both of these colleges are same. They are affiliated with the same universities too which is Chaudhary Charan Singh University. So, I would recommend you to start working on your skills on your own because no matter how the reputation of the college. The companies will only select a best candidate for their organization.

Hello Prajwal ,
The qualifying cut off score is different from the admission cut off scores. This will be released by JOSAA during the time of admission. Hence, even if you clear the examination, you need to have a high score to get a seat at the colleges like IIITs, NITs etc.

This is not the problem that you want to change your stream. However, the question is that if you are eligible for University of California or not? Certain things matters like, your graduation CGPA, Work experience in relevant field (which is very important), employers brand value, extracurricular etc. These are some of the broad parameters to judge the candidacy of the Student. Yes, it should be more than 75, then it will be easy for you to move forward by this score, if you will score than 75 then chances will be low. So, score more. All the best.

As per 2017 trends, closing rank was 17456 as cutoffs for CSE branch in OBC Category in Outside Delhi region at DTU under Jee Mains rank.
