If you belong to a country where English is not your native language, then you are required to provide a proof of English language proficiency through certain exams such as IELTS or any other UKVI recognised SELT (Secure English Language Test). Students can expect to have IELTS cut off ranging from 5.5 to 8.5 on the basis of different courses. Those who are applying for undergraduate courses and have scored at least 70% in their Standard XII English examination from either the CBSE or CISCE boards may be exempted from English language requirements on a case-to-case basis.

Students are required to possess a decent English language proficiency level in order to get enrolled in the programme of their choice. This is so because every course is taught in English in the college and it is expected that students hold a high level of English language proficiency. As such, all students at Centennial College must present an acceptable level of English language proficiency to be admitted to their programme of choice. In order to meet the language proficiency requirement, applicants can demonstrate English proficiency through recognised English language proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL, etc.

To prepare for English in the IBPS PO exam, candidates can start by improving the grammar and vocabulary. Candidates can practice grammar exercises and learn new words by reading English books, newspapers, and magazines. It is also important to improve candidates reading comprehension skills by practicing reading passages and answering questions related to them. Additionally, candidates can watch English movies and TV shows to improve listening and speaking skills. Lastly, candidates can take mock tests and previous years' question papers to get an idea of the exam pattern and practice solving questions within the given time limit.
