The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to M.A. English is done on the basis of entrance tests. January 2, 2019

Hi,
Yes, you can still become a lecturer by qualifying the NET exam after completion of your M.A. It does not matter if you have completed your MA from Open University, all you require is that university should be a recognized university and you have completed the post-graduation with a minimum required marks. NTA conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year for candidates who want to make a career in lectureship. After qualifying the UGC NET exam you can directly become an assistant professor in any of the top UGC recognized universities across India. I don't know where are you from I mean from which state or city. The thing is that you can apply for the same by visiting the campus. There is no other option. Sorry to say, but it's the last option.
