Yes, you can prepare for CAT. You can take tuitions for CAT. There, you will be taught everything from the basic. Else, for your English, you can take a short-term coaching class before starting your CAT preparations for being more confident.

For admission to PhD in English, one should have at MPhil Degree and a Post-Graduate a minimum of 55 percent marks (50 percent marks for SC/ST/PH candidates) from a university or a recognised institution of higher learning.
