At Shakuntla School of Nursing, the BSc students must study English as a core subject. This is because nurses need to talk clearly with doctors and patients. In nursing, it is even more critical to read charts and give reports. You will learn to write medical notes and explain treatments simply.

Yes, Indian students can get an English proficiency waiver at Massey Uni New Zealand. The waiver is not automatically guaranteed and applications are assessed case-by-case.

Students can request a waiver if they have any of the below:

  • MOI certificate from previous college/university in India
  • Completed higher education taught in English within the last 2 years
  • Scored minimum 60% marks in the Class 12th English exam (some courses may require better scores)

Students can submit the same via the International Admissions portal. A alternative is to take an EAP pathway program.

Yes, Indian students can get an English waiver if their schooling was done via the English medium. In this case, the students would not have to take IELTS or TOEFL they can submit their application without this.

The school has to issue a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter or strong class 12th English scores in place of IELTS

Yes, the University of GE (UNIGE) offers English-taught programs. Most English-taught courses are delivered at the PG level. UG courses are generally only available in the UG format.

However, some faculty members like the Geneva School of Economics, the Global Studies Institute (GSI), the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Humanities/Arts do deliver programs in English.
